What is Open Graph?
Open Graph is the set of tags that decide how a link to your site looks when someone shares it: the title, the description, and the preview image.
Why it matters#
When a page is shared on LinkedIn, Facebook, Slack, WhatsApp, or iMessage, the platform does not guess what to show. It reads the page's Open Graph tags and builds the preview card from them. A page without these tags gets a bare link or a random image pulled from the page, which usually means fewer clicks and a less professional first impression.
How Weblooks helps#
The metadata scan checks every page for Open Graph title, description, and image tags and flags what is missing, page by page. If the project is connected to GitHub or a CMS, you can fill the gaps from the canvas and ship the fix as a pull request or a CMS write without leaving Weblooks.
