Client handover
Handover is the moment a site stops being your project and becomes the client's. Weblooks treats it as a checked state, not a feeling.
The handoff gate#
Before a project counts as ready to hand over, Weblooks checks that the site is verified live on a real domain and that the working parts are connected: the GitHub repository, storage for images and files, a deployment target, and a CMS. Platform-managed setups count too; a site hosted on Weblooks with the built-in CMS passes the same gate as one wired to external providers. The maintenance guide#
Once a site is officially live, Weblooks generates a plain-language maintenance guide tailored to the project's exact CMS, hosting, and storage: how to update content, how domains and redirects work, and where images live, each with steps and a link to the provider's own help. It appears in the editor and in the client portal, so the person maintaining the site day-to-day has answers without emailing you.
Invite links#
Clients join through invite links, as read-only or comment-only reviewers. Invites are revocable, can carry an expiry, and every use is recorded in the audit trail. Clients see the preview, comments, approvals, and the maintenance guide, and never see source code, deploy controls, or admin tools.
