GitHub and CMS

Connecting a GitHub repository

Connect a repo to unlock pull-request-based edits, branch-aware preview, and the launch readiness checklist.

Authorizing access#

From project settings, click Connect GitHub. Weblooks requests read access to a single repo (no org-wide scopes) and read/write access to pull requests. Authorization happens through the standard GitHub OAuth flow. You can revoke the connection from GitHub settings at any time.

Selecting branches#

The default branch is used for live preview and audit. Feature branches can be selected per-project when creating PRs, useful when an agency works on a staging branch while the client reviews main.
